The Valuemark story
Terms for free use and sale
Just like articles, poems and books can texts for valuemarks can be written in many different ways and that is also very good that they can. Every person who can write is free to do so. No person or business has a monopoly on writing valuemark texts, but as with articles, poems, books and other kind of texts such texts are naturally also protected by copyright according to international law to ensure that writers get something back for work they do. That of course also applies to these works. My valuemark texts have been worked out over months and they are protected through many registrations in copyright databases.
I of course need to be able to earn money on work I have done. For that reason I have to set some terms for use of work I have done.
1. Ways texts can be used for free now
Because I believe some of the texts can be useful and helpful for people, especially for people who have a strong need to say something about values they believe in for different reasons and sometimes for own safety, and because I believe it is good and important that people are conscious about and communicate good values and attitudes to each other, texts and designs I have made under can be downloaded and printed for free in 80 gram A4 format paper for non-commercial use and can be handed out to family members, friends and other people in a maximum number of 10 per week.
It is not allowed to send/share the files/documents in email and mms/sms and not allowed to share them in other ways through or on the internet/networks.
2. Ways the downloadable designs can be used by people on the street who have no shop
The downloadable designs can be printed out in A4 paper or on other materials and sold by people on the street who have an urgent need to get an income. All money from the sale goes to the street seller. Terms for such sales are:
a）It is allowed to sell alltogether up to 10 units per day:
*A4 posters in normal or high quality with colors as in the designs. It is recommended that sellers go to a print shop and get help from a worker to make the prints.
A4 paper thickness should be between 120 grams and 200 grams. Some gloss in the paper is recommended but not required.
* A4 size in stone, glass, acrylic, plastic and on metals except for on gold and silver.

3. Ways the downloadable designs can be sold by shops
The downloadable designs can be printed out on paper and on other materials in A3 size and larger and sold in shops except for in cities/areas mentioned under 3d:
a）Paper posters must be printed in normal or high quality with colors as in the designs. It is recommended that sellers go to a print shop and get help from a worker to make the prints. A3 paper thickness should be between 240 grams and 400 grams. Some gloss in the paper is recommended but not required.
b）The downloadable designs can also be printed on stone, glass, acrylic, plastic and on metals except for on gold and silver.
c）A commission of 5 percent of total sales amount must be paid once a month to the right holder. See number 6.
d） In the few areas or citites listed under posters of downloadable files in this page with A3 size or larger than A3 size can only be sold by named shops under.

4. Ways texts can be used commercially by other independent creative workers valid from 27th April 2025
a）Posters in different sizes
The texts can be used by creative workers to make their own new designs and paper posters of them. 5 percent of sales amount for, every poster sold must be paid to the copyright holder in a way explained under 6.
b）The texts can be used by creative workers to make engravings on surface on objects in metals, stone , plastic, acrylic and glass covering less than a meter in width or 1 meter in height, except for in Norway, Sweden and Denmark where other terms are valid.
5 percent of sales amount for every sale must be paid to the right holder in a way explained under 6.
c）Engravings in metals, stone , plastic, acrylic and glass with text on surfaces covering more than 1 meter in width or 1 meter in height
The texts can be used by creative workers to make engravings on objects in metals, stone , plastic, acrylic and glass covering more than a meter in width or 1 meter in height.
2,5 percent of sales amount for every sale must be paid to the right holder in a way explained under 6.
5. Translation of the English valuemark texts to other languages
People are free to translate the English text to different languages for use on the following terms.
a）The original English valuemark texts are according to national and international law protected by copyright in the name of the writer and owner and so are correct translations. That means that correct translations for other people than the writer and owner are not covered by copyright but by a right to use the translation according to these terms.
b）Translations in this website can become identical to translations by people who translate texts on a "right to use basis".
c）Because translations in this website normally are made by independent translators it can happen that the translated texts in this website at first are not hundred percent correct. More correct translations will then be worked out over time.
d）It can happen that correct translations for people who use texts on a "right to use basis" already have been worked out. Those texts are covered by the copyright of the writer and owner of the English texts and will therefore not be a hinder for the writer and owner of the English texts in working out correct translations that are identical or almost identical after.
e）All translations of the English copyright protected texts in this website must be marked with the text Copyright 2025 www.cmbmanagement.eu. Translations can also contain the text Translated by "name on translator" if the translator would like such text on the translation.
6. Ways to pay the right holder commission from sales
Commisions from sales shall be paid to the right holder monthly within the 5th of every month to an account under:
a）Cash deposit to bank account
